Where do I get a SUBCARD™?
You get your SUBCARD™ free from any participating SUBWAY® store, simply ask for one at the time of your purchase.


I'm trying to log in but my Card Number / Access Code is not working.
We have a feature which allows you to change the 'Access Code' for security. This means when you log in you will no longer be able to use the 'Access Code' on the back of your card and must use the new code or password you specified at registration instead. If you have forgotten what this is please ring 0800-SUBCRD.


What are reward dollars and how many do I earn?
Rewards dollars are our way of rewarding you for being a loyal SUBWAY® customer. You will automatically earn reward dollars every time you make a purchase at SUBWAY® restaurant and scan your SUBCARD™. The actual value of the reward points you receive depends on the promotions currently running at SUBWAY® restaurant and as such the best way to see how many rewards you are getting is from your SUBCARD™ receipt or by checking online.


What can I redeem my SUBCARD™ on?
Once you have reached a minimum balance of $3 reward dollars you can use this to purchase any item on the menu, and you can even use it to pay for part of your purchase transaction. Reward dollars cannot be redeemed for cash.


Does my reward and gift balance expire?
Reward Dollars will automatically expire one year after the date that you earn them. Cash loaded onto SUBCARD™’s will automatically expire two years after the date that you loaded the cash onto your SUBCARD™.

How do I know what my reward/gift balance is?
Your gift and rewards balance will be printed on your receipt each time you make a purchase at SUBWAY® restaurant. You can also go online at www.subcard.co.nz to check your balance.


What are the benefits of registering my SUBCARD™?
  • You will receive exclusive promotional offers.
  • If your SUBCARD™ is lost or stolen we can issue a replacement card and freeze the remaining balance on your old SUBCARD™ from the time that you report to us.


  • What happens if my SUBCARD™ is lost or stolen?
    If the card is registered we can issue a replacement card and freeze the remaining Reward Dollars / cash balance on your old SUBCARD™ from the time that you report to us (by calling 0800 SUBCRD). Proof of identity is required. Please treat the SUBCARD™ as securely as you would with cash - as the crediting of a replacement SUBCARD™ is at our sole discretion.


    Can we get our SUBCARD™'s linked for all of our family members so that we are accumulating one reward/gift balance?
    Not at this time.


    I want to load gift balance online?
    This feature is coming in 2010


    I didn't have my card at time of purchase or there was a problem with my card, can I still get my reward dollars?
    Unfortunately not, reward dollars cannot be added retrospectively.
